Date: Fri May 18, 2001 9:02 pm Hi - I'm new to the group. My name is Olivia and I began taking Paxil during Chemotherapy treatment to help boost my energy. Chemotherapy been over for a year now and I couldn't get off Paxil (in fact when I had a delay getting my Rx transfered to another pharmacy for 4 days I ended up in the ER) so I switched to Prozac. Help I feel like I will always be on some drug or another. If I forget to take a pill or (forget on purpose) I get the worst headache and can not function. Your advice is greatly appreciated. As you read our posts and get to know us, you will be very much relieved to know you are not alone. We have all been there, many of us still are. (I know I am). But you have to believe, it does get better...go off it slowly, don't stop cold turkey....Hugs, Pam Date: Mon May 21, 2001 11:04 pm Response2: Hi Olivia, Welcome to the group. I can't believe they put you on SSRI to boost your energy when they are known to cause sleep disturbances. Also, did you know that prozac is a carcinogen??? They are unbelievable. Ramo
